4 Evangelists

The MAN, the EAGLE, the LION, the BULL …. which can be reduced to two numerical codes 11258 and 13769. 

These codes can be found on Card X, The Wheel of Fortune or Card XXI, The World, of many Tarot decks.*

*those that have maintained the proper correspondences.

11 2 5 8 code is simple to understand.
The numbers correspond to their position on the zodiac wheel.

The 137 69 code is more concealed.

Much evidence suggests that walking a labyrinth has meditative, healing properties.
It is a like a giant placebo I guess, a pill that you can not swallow, but in fact, the pill swallows you as you enter its domain.

3 Crosses of Christ

Three crosses as depicted in Alice Bailey’s book Esoteric Astrology published by Lucis Trust.
These 3 Crosses are based on the 12 signs of the Zodiac, the 4 Mutable signs (swastika), the 4 Fixed signs (celtic cross) and the 4 Cardinal signs (‘arrow’ of time)

The labyrinth I chose as template is a composite of ALL of the above, a blending of many ideas, the path itself, i.e. how we get from the outside to the inside and back out again, without crossing any lines is based on this one, because its function was designed for marriage, and alchemy is the marriage of the anima to the animus.

But I intentionally ‘reversed it’, I put my asymmetrical twist to Helen Curry’s design.

And I also changed the shape of the paths to reflect the shapes of the 3 CROSSES on the bottom row.

The design is called the 4 AGES Model Labyrinth.
I added a little Alice Bailey, a little Timothy Leary, Carl Jung and alchemy and of course, a little Raphael was put in to this ‘garden’ design.
It also incorporates, as part of its intent, the 4 AGES Model I speak about when discussing CARD X and Solomon’s Knot.

In a sense this garden labyrinth is a model for precession and our evolving DNA, where you see how the outer is connected to the inner, and how the observer can effect the observation, all connected by an unbroken path that can be clearly followed.

It illustrates how the observer can effect the outer form … note the emanating from the center shaped chiminea, the spark, the yod, which later gives shape to the 3 leaf clover (this labyrinth hints at why the 4 leaf clovers are rare), the arrow on the next level resembles a gigantic bubble of plasma, eventually giving form to the OUTER garden that manifests in the final stages, indicated by the RED path of fire and beyond.

The one continuous path connects the inner to the outer.

And it is NOT a coincidence that my avatar/mandala above, and the red cedar chip in the garden labyrinth both have an outer RED background.
Note also both have a ‘swastika’ in the center of the mandala/labyrinth.

WTF these two images are nearly 400 years apart.

It is uncanny. Both have a man inside for scale. The first image is of an alchemist in search of the philosopher’s stone and the second is a modern day alchemist working at CERN.
How could that be?

Too bad Carl Jung would have loved these two images linking the past with the present.

Carl Jung felt Alchemy was the predecessor of psychoanalysis.

All three images above are divided into 8 sections.
Great Pyramid of Giza is actually an 8 sided pyramid, only visible during the equinoxes.
Noah’s Ark had 8 family members aboard.
I Ching structure is based on 8 family members.

Where did all of the above lead me?
